The level viewer completely breaks on levels that have a certain type of Wall Shadow skin in them.
The Wall Shadow skin in question is the very last one in the list chronologically (meaning if you place the default one and then right click on the skin selection box to go back by one, you'll be one that one. Coincidentally, this is the same Wall Shadow skin that was added in 1.8.5 after it was forgotten/misplaced in 1.8.4, so if I had to take a guess that probably has something to do with this. Just a shot in the dark tho).
This error can be observed by going to one of my levels on this site (ID: 565515), and clicking the "Open image in a new tab" button.
The level in question has a total of 10 (5 facing left (sprWallShadowLeft/.png_1_1_0_12), 5 facing right (sprWallShadowLeft/.png_-1_1_0_12)) of these specific Wall Shadows placed in it, and lo and behold, the level viewer throws exactly 10 of the same kind of error related to Wall Shadows, and then a fatal error at the end.
In theory, there should be no similar problem with any other shadow variants or skins, but more testing may be necessary.

For some reason, when you change your username in the game's settings, the website does not update to the new username in the user's profile page and levels created section. There should also be an option to opt out and delete your account from the site.

Correction! Bosses stand on the magnetic coils upon spawnin, causing them to die instantly when the coils are used as a ceiling. They do not need to be activated either. I am sorry for the confusion.

The setup shown causes most robot masters to commit suicide in their own special ways, such as flying up the screen or being pushed to the right. Bubble Man and Metal Man just get stuck in the boxes.

1-The enemy called hell metall DX now fall from ledges. 2-The tiles called pirate tile 2 (alt) and pirate tile 2 (alt 2) has been swapped in the game database (or something like that), when playing a level before 1.8.4, the dark tiles has become clear, and vice versa.

I have done more research on the previous issue. It appears to be rather inconsistent. Even a slightly different setup can change the behaviors of the glitched blocks. One thing to note though is that they continue directly upwards through any wall that is not completely solid, and even solid ones if they're on alternating rows.

If you create a room with a ladder that activates a screen transition from above and you arrive in two rooms merged in height, i.e. no transition between them, the enemy called Bari III (Head) only appears half the time. It must be in the second half of the new room for the bug to appear. You can go down the ladder and activate the screen transition again and this time it will appear. Do it again and it will disappear. Repeat.

I am noticing on the viewer of more recent levels including mine are showing the level length as 0 screens. I think this might be a bug with the viewer itself. Anything previous to that displayed level length normally. So I am guessing there might have been a change in the engine.

There's a problem with Bass and a certain weapon, when I try to slide with Bass using Charge Kick (MM5 weapon) on an area where sliding is required, he stops as if he hit a wall and doesn't slide all the way to the other side, not sure if this is a bug or if it's a removed feature.

after messing around with the editor, i have discovered that this issue only happens when the boss room that the player is teleporting to does not have a ceiling.
easy fix, but with the way that my level is laid out, this is still very annoying.

There have been 2 updates since my initial bug report, and neither have fixed the issue that I have been having.
Whenever I enter a boss room through a teleporter, the boss is not spawning. The boss flickers at the top of the screen very briefly, disappears, and then the health bar fill sound plays, but there is no boss or health bar.

The Builder doesn't have gamepad support, but moving the left stick causes the screen to scroll. This makes it harder to use a gamepad with JoyToKey or a similar keymapper to edit levels.
I was able to prevent this behavior by modding the game and removing references to keyLeft, keyRight, keyUp, and keyDown in the Builder script. But that also disables arrow key movement. It might be better if the Builder references arrow keys directly, rather than keyLeft, keyRight, etc (which automatically treat the left joystick the same as the arrow keys.)
The Builder doesn't have gamepad support, but moving the left stick causes the screen to scroll. This makes it harder to use a gamepad with JoyToKey or a similar keymapper to edit levels.

Mega Man becomes stuck in the firing animation and unable to move or attack if I push the Switch Weapon button while firing the Power Adaptor. If he gets hit, he can act normally again. Otherwise, he gets stuck in place until I reset the level. Pausing, switching weapons, and other tricks don't work.
I'm using a controller, but I don't think that's the issue. I think the problem is with Mega Man's animation not changing properly when he switches from the Power Adaptor to another weapon while mid-punch. I think getting damaged fixes the issue because it forces Mega Man to switch to the knockback animation.

When placing a Cossack Catcher, if there is no wall on the side or outside of the screen, the Cossack Catcher will move to the edge of the screen once and then be stuck there (it will only move up and down).
Workaround: Placing walls on either side of the screen or outside of them will allow it to move properly. (Not a fundamental solution!)

I know I keep asking too much about the Boss Rush teleporter, or even the Challenge teleporter, but look, when I jump into a different teleporter from Galaxy Man's stage, I sometimes clip above me through the ceiling or into another teleporter like really, how can you stop yourself from jumping that high when you could just stand there and wait for the teleporter to quietly take you back and forth? That's just unnatural for a boss rush room. :(

- When viewing levels on megamaker.webmeka.io, you can see leaderboards for the best times. I think it would be very cool if an online leaderboard existed in the actual game. I enjoy speedrunning and would like to compete against other players in levels.

If you place a Yellow Devil in a level, the app will crash due to a variable error and be forcibly terminated under the following conditions.
・Defeat the yellow devil in the passage boss setting and die after passing the intermediate point
Cause:The anchor point for setting the movement range of the Yellow Devil remains even after the main body is destroyed, and it is presumed that the error occurs because the main body position corresponding to the anchor point cannot be found when restarting.
Approach:It seems that it is possible to avoid this for the time being by one of the following methods. (Not a real solution!)
・Set the Yellow Devil as a goal (the level will be cleared when it is defeated).
・When setting multiple bosses, place only one yellow devil and do not place it in the middle order (place it in the final order and do not place elements that die after that).

Update: You can't land on the fire mushroom (mm11 enemy) ONLY IF they walk down a ledge. Leave the room, then re-enter the room, now you can't land on them anymore. Actually, you can still land on them, but the hitbox is like 2 tiles higher, you literally float in the air.

When you enter a Room that contain a fire mushroom (mm11 enemy), you can shoot a bullet and then jump on Them. If you leave the Room and re-enter it, you cant land anymore on Them. You just take damage.

Dit het 'n rukkie geneem om vlakke te maak, dit het nie soveel probleme of foute gehad nie, maar as ek op my TV probeer speel met die hdmi kabel gaan die speletjie stadig en daar is geen musiek nie. Ek het al probeer met my 2 skootrekenaars en dit bly gebeur dat die spel stadig gaan..

I'm not sure if this was a bug, but when I use Bass it doesn't destroy enemy shields like in Mega Man 10. I don't know if it's because of the game engine or if when they added it they forgot to put that feature that I was very used to since I played Mega Man 10 thank you very much for adding it too ^^

I keep getting a error message stating "this user does not exist" when using the game's "profile" or "upload" functions. Does anybody know why this would happen? I used a different account previously on the same game file, and I think that might be it. I don't want to re-install the game or make a new profile because I want to keep my levels.

I don't know if it's a problem, but the game is a bit slow for me when I use some floors of mm 10 and 11, it also happened to me with the Crystal Man floor, I saw people live who also ran a bit slow in the transmissions, it would be nice if they checked it n.n

When we try to upload a level, it says the user does not exist. It also does this when we try to access the account. We do have it linked on the Fan Website, but when we try to upload the stats, it also says that the user does not exist. Any help would be appreciated, as my 8-year-old is pretty excited about this whole thing. Thanks! :)

When playing as Bass/Forte, pressing the dash button and jump button at the same time results in a non-dash jump. This differs from Mega Man X behavior and is very unintuitive.

The Conditional Search is a great way to search for levels that focus on certain gimmicks, or bosses, or now even weapons. While searching for certain weapons, it came to my mind that the list of weapons is not complete yet as different characters have different weaponsets e.g. Bass uses Treble Boost instead of items and adapters and Roll uses Tango instead of Rush Coil. Or maybe for this to work there needs to be a distribution of levels by the character of the marker for the spawn position of the player first so that there can be correct weapon symbols. This is just an idea. The conditional search is already a great function.

Now that uploading mmlv files is a feature once more, there is still something that's not possible. Currently, once you upload a mmlv file, you cannot download the image of the level map directly, so for sharing purposes (like pasting unfinished level maps on Discord, etc.) you still have to upload the stage and then download the image. Would be a nice feature to have back, as it makes it easier to ask for feedback on the level themselves without having to upload several versions of them. Thanks for the attention and have a nice day.

My profile didn't change the displayed username or pfp. All levels uploaded also use the old username even if uploaded after the change. Logging in with the new username functions correctly (the new username can be used almost immediately after changing it) and the "My profile" button takes me to the correct profile, so it's just a cosmetic bug

Not sure if it's forgotten about but I'd wanna set a reminder just in case. The old site allowed you to upload mmlv files directly, without the need to upload the stage online first. Additionally there should be some lines around the screens of the map to separate it from the background color or give the option to make the background transparent.
Additionally, there was another feature on the old site for level packs, with a fancy mmx1 stage select deal too. The latter doesn't matter too much to me personally, but should it return then maybe it can be a bit more flexible, like choosing which stage is in what square rather than uploading it in a certain order, as well as something to showcase stuff after the initial 8 stages. For the pack itself there could be some improvements to the old one, like descriptions and preview screens of the stage.
That is all, not sure if I should have reported them as separate things but thanks in advance.
